Susumu Hibi was Director at Eighting/Raizing between 1993 and 2012[1]. He worked as a Director or Product Manager on most of the Bloody Roar instalments since Beastorizer on Arcade.

Susumu Hibi first started in the videogame industry as a director for mid-90's Bomberman games. Bloody Roar, at the time Beastorizer, was his third project as a videogame Director for Eighting. After Bloody Roar 2, he took a step back as Director to work on the Marketing and Quality Assurance side of Eighting, becoming a Product Manager for Bloody Roar: Extreme and Bloody Roar 4. He did not work for Bloody Roar 3.

For the franchise development, Susumu Hibi worked usually close with Kenji Fukuya, a representative of Hudson Soft., as they were both co-directors of the two first games. When Susumu Hibi stepped down from the Direction to work in Marketing, Kenji Fukuya became the only director of the series.

Since Bloody Roar 4, in 2003, Susumi worked on various game for Eighting Co. mostly as Supervisor or Product Manager [2]. His last credit was for Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate (2014).
